Child disability element

Hi I'm just after some advice my daughter's currently been awarded DLA in June last year I currently recive ESA as I suffer with mental health.im just wondering I wasn't aware of child disability element until citizens advice told me I in formed UC 15th April of situation.they updated my payment saying my daughter will get hight disability element just wondering if they will back date it to June when she started getting DLA.many thanks

As you are aware from me doing a change of circumstances, my child was awarded Disability Living Allowance from 00 June 2022. I unfortunately was not aware that I could of been eligible for any further top-up from Universal Credit so I would be grateful if you could please request that this is backdated.
