DLA Help please - Confused!

Hello,
First time posting here. I've received DLA indefinitely since 2011. I've always received a letter about my award at this time of the year. However, I noticed that the one I received this year mentioned my increase in line with inflation and that'd be paid between a specific date range in April to May. Does this mean that it's ending in May and that I'll be expecting an invitation to PIP?
I've kept a hold of my letter from last year, which had information about PIP but it said that I didn't have to do anything until they contacted me. From memory, the last few awards letters have always included this information but the one from this year didn't!?
Some clarity could help. I know that the system is massively delayed and it's been painful for so many of you.
Thanks!

When you’re invited to apply for PIP you’ll receive a letter explaining what you need to do. Your DLA will then continue until a decision is made on your PIP providing you return the forms by the date stated in the letter.
For this reason it’s very unlikely that your DLA will just end in May. No one can predict when you’ll be invited to apply.0 -
Hi @JohnWallace from the sound of it I don't think you need to worry about this letter, I had similar one with my own PIP, last month.
It explained that payments would increase in amount, and changes would take place from 10th April. My PIP isn't due to be reviewed until 2028 at the earliest. As Poppy has mentioned, you'll be informed with time to spare about the transfer to PIP, it won't just stop.
If you do need a hand down the line with moving over to PIP, please do reach out, and I hope we can help support you anytime0
