Congratulations on winning your Tribunal @6319 that must be a relief?
I know there are other members here also waiting to hear from the DWP after their own tribunals, but I'm afraid I don't know exact time scales on this. Hopefully it won't be too long for you, I'd be keen to know when you hear more1 -
It can take anything up to about 8 weeks to receive any money that's owed after a Tribunal win.

That's great news @6319 I hope you hear back soon0

Hi thanks for the congrats from member's
Was overjoyed when first getting my tribunal win
But as it's been nearly 3 weeks from that mood definitely lowered
Thought DWP have to contact you pretty quickly just to acknowledge tribunal went against them
After a long 18 months I'm happy I've won but what niggles me is
DWP gave me 0 points and then 0 PTS on mandatory
But in the end tribunal gave
13pts daily living
10pts mobility0 -

As i advised in a previous comment, it can take anything up to about 8 weeks, sometimes longer to receive any money that's owed.DWP have the same chance we do to appeal the decision. However, they can't just appeal because they disagree (like us) they first have to request the Statement of Reasons and Record of Proceedings from HMTCS within 1 month of the date of decision.Once they receive those they need to find the error in law before they can proceed any further. They sometimes request them but rarely appeal it. If they are requested, it doesn't mean they are appealing the decision.0 -
6weeks since tribunal win but still no contact from DWP
Rang them yesterday
After 2 long aborted calls finally got through to speak too actual person a very polite young man who duely hung up on me after I explained what I was ringing about
So much for customer service🤔🤔🤔0 -
That's awful @6319 I'm so sorry you had that experience. I know so many have said about how difficult it has been trying to contact the DWP. Someone suggested ringing right on 9am and most people who have, have had a better chance of getting through.0

I’ve been contacted and back payment made, can’t remember how long it took them to contact me but only a couple of weeks I think (not 6 weeks) you can search for my thread if you wanted to know
it was a relief to be told they hadn’t appealed, hopefully you will hear soon, give an update to what sscs say 👍0 -
