Hi everyone this is my first post so I do apologise if it does make much sense .
I've been awarded lcwra today I no longer haver too look for work ect.
I handed in a sick note on 22/2/23 for 3 months . I get uc on the 18th of each month and I think my assessment period is the 11th too the 12th
I was just wondering how does it work will I get it added onto mays uc payment or will it be afterward ?
Thank you too anyone who responds in advance and please let me know if I've not gave enough information.

Was the 22/2/23 your first fit note? If so then your waiting period will be March to June… LCWRA starts from AP 12th June to 11th July and your first payment will be 18th July.Your decision was made extremely quick!1

Hi thank you so much for getting back too me so quick.
Yes my first fit note was on the 22/2/23 . It confuses me because it will be 3 months om the 22nd of May?
I thought that too very lucky I must say !! Will I get a letter in the post do you know ? Also is there any back pay I'll get or not ?0 -
The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods and then it’s paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note.
You sent your first fit note in the middle of Feb/March AP which doesn’t count because it’s not a full month. As UC is paid 1 month in arrears it’s starts from the start of the 4th AP with payment at the end of that.0
