Your claim has been rather quick compared to many other people waiting for renewals/CoC. You should expect a decision to be made within 2-12 weeks.0

Hi, I hate to think how long it would take if they was on a go slow.0

I hope you're not kept waiting too much longer now @Nannalew.0

Morning all, hope your all well. I need some advice if possible. I get mobility on pip, am I initialed to a disabled bus pass?? As I have been told I am but when I went a few years ago I was told that I couldn't get it. Thanks.0

All local Authorities have their own rules for disabled bus passes so you’ll need to look at the criteria on their website. This link will help with that. https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-disabled-bus-pass0

Not being funny but don't you think I have done all that??? Like I said I went a few years ago and was told I couldn't have it. I was just asking to see if anyone could tell me if I'm entitled to it.0

Well I’m just trying to help you!! There’s really no need to be rude.No one can tell you whether you would be entitled because all local authorities have their own criteria. It’s not a standard criteria nationally.0

The concessionary scheme is administered by each local authority and can do differences in how they go out of about assessing entitlement. Nonetheless they are, to the best of my knowledge, all subject to the same separate of regulations in the Transport Regulations 2000.
https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/38/part/II/crossheading/mandatory-travel-concessions-outside-greater-london
see regulation 146
Some tests are straightforward (such not not medically fit to hold a driving licence) but the test of 'has a disability, or has suffered an injury, which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on his ability to walk' is open to the local authority to assess as it chooses.

Thanks, I can't drive as I needed a full knee replacement but they aren't going to do it as I'm on warfarin. So I will just go back and try again. Thanks.0
