I had an accident on 1/11/21 and have had 2 ops and had fit notes consistently since, I received pip & work assessment forms Jan 23 which cab helped fill in and they posted.
I'm now receiving Pip, but W.a said they sent my case back as they received it late,?!? It was then sent to a "decision maker " 7 weeks ago I've asked and phoned Uc but told that they are very busy.
Can anyone offer any advice as I don't know what to do next.
Thank Jen

Are you saying the the health assessment providers sent your file back to DWP because they received your form late?If so then there's very strict rules about returning the WCA forms back no later than the deadline in the letter. Failure to return them could see you being found fit for work. There's some relaxation to those rules if there's vulnerable marker on your file but this doesn't apply to everyone.Unfortunately, you just need to wait for a decision maker to make their decision on what happens next. They may contact you to ask why you didn't return them on time. If they accept the reason then your form and evidence will be returned to the health assessment providers.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi, there were postal strikes around the time the C.a.b sent my forms off, pip received theirs on time, but health assessment team said it was a day late and so was sent back.
