PIP Tribunal after MR Success

Hi, I'm not really sure what to do at the minute, I'm happy that I'm now getting more money as I went from standard daily living for years and just accepting what they gave me until recently I did an MR an was successful with getting enhanced daily living and standard mobility without doing any assessment after I reported a CoC and no assessment either with the MR they just went off my evidence. So it was really easy to get, I did state to Citizens Advice due to my anxiety I don't leave the house very often and when I do it's usually with my mum or a friend but even then it's very stressful. This year so far I haven't left my house for months other than the odd occasions but most of the time I do not leave the house as I get paranoid about people bc of trauma and my psychosis can be triggering when I'm outside aswell as depression to can make me think more about suicide later if I am stressed

I was thinking of going to tribunal with trying to get standard mobility to enhanced but does my anxiety qualify to get enhanced? And also would my award of daily living, is that possible if I went to tribunal they could take away daily living enhanced too? I'm not really sure what to do because from my experience I go through I feel like I should be getting the 12 points for mobility as I explained I can't leave the house without anyone and I did explain this to DWP but they've decided to give me standard. If I went tribunal can I just go for the mobility side of it and keep my daily living enhanced secured? or shall I just accept my award and leave it?

Thanks.

If the majority of the time you’re unable to leave the house, even if there are times when you can go out with another person. Then standard mobility is the correct award. I would have expected you to score the points for 1E “can not undertake any journey” is this where you scored the points?

You will not be entitled to Enhanced mobility based on what you said here.

I have not received the letter yet I just rang and asked if my decision was made so I will let you know
I would of thought I would of scored 1F as I go the shops with my mum but I don't go  anywhere else often because like I said it triggers my thoughts, I did not explain this as I figured going to the shops for food would not need to be explained as I obviously need food, I wrote down my mum gets me food but I didn't write down that I do come with her, I rang Cab and they told me I should of wrote that down, in the MR I explained it in a sense of going for walks I do not do very often and going theme related places in terms of a journey I avoid things like that. I guess that I took it literal in my head that journey means somewhere you enjoy and not for basic needs

Many people do not to out for food themselves because other people do shopping for them.
The appropriate score is based on what you can do on the majority of days. If on most days you feed descriptor E then that is the correct descriptor.

that is true actually i didnt think of that
what is classed as majority of days? I would say I go shopping 2-3 days a week but it is by car and my mum drives, is this even classed as journeys even tho im not driving?is this classed as not majority as im unsure, shall I just leave the tribunal? also in the past i have not gone all week if i have food left but this isnt very often it depends how my appetite is

2 or 3 days per week isn't the majority of the days. The majority of the days will be at least 50% of the days over a 12 month period, so at least 4 days per week. A journey can mean any journey and not just a journey you may or may not enjoy.

1F can not apply if 1E applies.
