I'm afraid of the risk of taking the room and then to find out later that I will not be able to afford it because the calculation was wrong. I hope these calculators are reliable.

The LHA link i posted is correct but you need to make sure you do the monthly amount because it only tells you the weekly amount.Do also be aware that if you're working and receive earnings and you don't have the work allowance then your UC will reduce by 55% for earnings received each month.0

For instance I checked Ealing, Camden and Hackney on Local Housing Allowance and it comes 295.49 per week, which is 1280.35 per month. Higher than the average room in those places.0
