Now I'm worried thy take points of me for not having any one hear. I suffer with anxiety and depression and its making me more anxious nowing I haven't got any support. I have no fa mily apart from a son but he lives 2 hrs drive from me and no more friends. I feel sick. Will they penalise me. I'm not good at taking on the phone neither. Thank you

Hello @Georgia63 and thanks for reaching out, I'm sorry to hear your friend had to cancel.
Can I ask, is your friend your appointee?
If you can't attend your assessment telephone appointment without support, you need to tell the assessment provider why you can't, and ask them to move the appointment or arrange an assessment that accommodates your disability needs.
Would your son be able to support you if you asked?
If they cannot rearrange the appointment, it might be helpful to keep notes next to you during the call, that way you can go through them bit by bit and not miss anything.
Citizens Advice has some helpful information on preparing for your assessment, please give it a read if you can.
If we can help any further, please ask!1 -
If you haven't already cancelled one appointment then you can cancel this and arrange another. If you prefer face to face rather than telephone you can also ask for that.
