I hope you are all having a great morning so far? and I am always more than happy to listen or discuss anything and everything subject matter as we all need a little help and advice from others whom fully understand. I really need some help and advice for both my situations with housing and my disabilities that are hard to get advice upon having great difficulty seeing my GP, Neurologist and Pain Specialist and be discussing a change with certain medications as they are not working as well to others recommended medications and so I need to change, but I have great difficulty trying to do so right now. If anyone wants to ask me anything about my disabilities to what medications I have to take everyday?, then please do not hesitate to ask as I am needing help and advice around the medications that I have to take.

Is it difficult getting appointments with the doctors and specialists, or are they not listening to you when they see you about you wanting to explore changing your medications?
I'm sorry you are in pain and also having difficulties with your housing. Are you trying to move house or have something changed within your house?1 -
Unfortunately, we are not medical professionals so can't give you any medical advice.Mr_Silver_Fox said:I am needing help and advice around the medications that I have to take.

I do sincerely apologise poppy123456 but I wasn’t looking for professional advice on my medications on a forum for discussions about others in the same or similar situation I am currently in and it was just something that I wanted to see other people’s opinions for if they understand the various types of medications for the various disorders I have, that is all I am meaning (no offence intended at all). Like you say that you are not a professional GP or Specialist to be able to give me sound medical advice on medications or otherwise and so I fully understand where you are coming from in every way possible.0

Hi surfygoose, thank you for your comment and I am trying to get myself off of oramorph and I have been for many months and onto a different pain medication but it’s not so easy when really I am needing to see my Pain Specialist whom cancelled my appointment when the strikes were happening and now I need re-referred again and god knows how long that’s going to take. My Neurologist could do something but again trying to get a re-referral is like getting blood out of a stone. I fully understand and support why NHS workers are on strike and I am having to wait just as much as anyone else in the same position as me and if not worse?, so I do sympathise heavily and understand that there are more people in a worse situation to me but again I am seeing many disabled people whom are needing a carer is constantly on the rise. Anyway- my current situation with my property is that we are decorating and possibly looking for a swap as we have moved in around 3 and a half years ago nearly and I get the feeling that because I am a disabled man and I get the practical SUV car (motability) for having the mother to our two beautiful children to be travelling around within a safe and practical car. I wish it was as simple as that but we wish that we could explain it without people thinking that it is something else that it’s not. Either way what will work is moving away from the area as we have never been welcomed by our neighbours from day one and all I have had is just complete madness since last year upon an police officer saying to me upon being released with no charges “I highly advise you to pack your stuff and leave Kent and move to Wales with your other family” (🤔 **** 😳). Every since that point all I have had is things happening that would shock you but I am not going to say on here as it sounds like madness but it’s actually true0

Hello @Mr_Silver_Fox how are things for you at the moment?
I've just been catching up and I wonder if Shelter can help with your ongoing housing issues? If you can evidence a need to move you might what to read about the priority housing register.
In terms of ongoing care for yourself, have you had any luck seeing the pain specialist?0
