I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in January this year and had to wait 6 months before being referred to a specialist. I’m now on their waiting list which is 18 weeks before being offered an appointment. My symptoms are getting worse and just feel very isolated and noticing my mental health getting worse , so just reaching out to others in the same situation for support and advise while I am waiting for my appointment.

Hello @Marlow73
Welcome to the community! I'm so sorry you are feeling so low with the wait. Can I ask, have you reached out to anyone for mental health support? Like SHOUT, they are a 24/7 texting service which I have used before and find beneficial.
With your appointment, I was in a similar boat waiting weeks on end and so I called the specialists secretary and asked if there was a cancellations list. If you are able to just drop and go at short notice, it may be worth calling and askingHannah - She / Her
