Hi all

My name is Kerry and I've been receiving the standard rate of both daily living and mobility since 2019 for mental health issues.

I had my review months ago but have recently received a text saying that they've extended by award because they haven't completed my review.... but my question is regarding the court decision secretary of work and pensions vs mm.

I asked a few months ago if my case was being reviewed and was told it is among those being reviewed. I missed out on the enhanced rate of daily living by ONE point so if they decide to change my points for activity 9 which I feel they should, I'm due a large backdated payment.

Does anyone have any info about whether they've started these reviews, has anyone already received a decision or how long will it take? I've tried looking for info but can only find info about the actual court decision so if anyone can help if be grateful. I don't know whether I  need to keep phoning them or if that wont help me at all. I'm badly in need of therapy that isn't covered on NHS and am really relying on having my award increased and backdated as part of the dwp vs mm review.

Thank you to anyone who can help.

Kerry

There's been at least a couple of threads here where members have been owed some money because of this. It is correct that they are looking at claims and will eventually contact you. I have no idea how long this will take.

For your review, there are extremely long backlogs so it could be quite some time before you hear anything regarding that. Most people have assessment, which are mostly by telephone. Some are video and/or face to face.
