Hardest thing you ever did?

Not interested in the thing that is most impressive to others but the thing that posed the hardest challenge for you personally.

For me it was either:

~Attending one of a number of different funerals
~Telling people close to me that I am not "normal" with regards to gender/sexuality
~Walking into a pub with friends, without parents for support, and ordering a drink

As said I have done "bigger" things than that but personally found them easier so they are not the point of this thread.

Looking forward to hearing other peoples thoughts.

For me it's going to Liverpool.

It's where my son lives, it's where my daughter went to Uni and where her MS Consultant is based

It's also the place where the reason I'm suffering with PTSD happened.
Years of avoidance blown apart by family roads leading there

Approaching the tunnel from the Welsh side; words can never explain how anxious I get.

But I do it because it's what Dad's do for their kids ... put them first

Was sat in a hospital all night with someone who was passing away. Long night. Was unexpected too.

Also having an animal put to sleep that's hard going
