A pension weekly/monthly income will reduce any Income Related ESA £1 for £1. For contributions based ESA pensions of up to £85/week are ignored. There's a 50p/week deduction for every £1 over this amount. If part of his ESA is Income Related then there must be an amount included for you so your pension will reduce this £1 for £1.If he's receiving more than £129.50/week then at least part of it will definitely be Income Related. For this reason i don't see any point in taking a weekly/monthly income from it.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
