Hello I’m new to this , I’d like some help and advice on self employment and receiving UC .
I don’t understand the floor cap based on being self employed.

The literature I have been reading and trying to understand about starting out being self employed and receiving universal credit , it’s difficult to digest
I don’t understand the floor and the first 12 months while I am setting up my own business0 -
It doesn't apply for the first 12 months. Also if you're been found to have either LCW or LCWRA or you're claiming carers element, then it won't apply anyway, even after those 12 months.As a self employed person you will be expected to report your earnings and expenses on the last day of each assessment period.0
