Hello guys wondered if you can help I had my video assesment around 3 weeks for ADHD and b12 deficient I thought my video assessment went really well. my GP called me last week saying PIP have wrote to them asking for them to confirm my conditions. Should I be concerned about this I have still not had no update.
I called them yesterday and advised this is still with the DM however when I called they did asked what bank my payments will be paid into, is this a good sign please help as I am stressing and everyday wanting to call them

Hi there @Carter1993 and thanks for your query, it sounds like things are progressing with your application. I'm glad your assessment went well. Is it your first time applying for PIP?
I can't say certain whether them asking for your bank details means you've been successful, but I do know decisions can take anywhere between 2 and 12 weeks at the moment.
I'm sorry I can't be more reassuring for you. Do you have any particular ways you find helpful to manage stress and anxiety, perhaps we can help?0 -
Hi there @Alex_Scope Should i be concerned they wrote to my GP 2 weeks after my video assessments my GP called me in so we could fill the form out together.
No need to apologise you have been great unfortunately patience has never really been my strongest point and it has just been such a long process0 -
No I don't think you need to worry, they probably wanted to contact your GP so that they could make sure they had all the information they need to understand how your conditions impact you day to day. I'm glad your GP called you to go through it together, that's positive
I understand, I remember the wait for my PIP, some years ago now. It's not easy, but you'll get there
Do ask if there's anything else you need a hand with, or if you just want to chat to take your mind off this, the coffee lounge is a good place to head to.0
