⛩️▫️i have a Neurological disability where i can not use my right hand at all and I have it for forty years and I was told by PIP that I am not entitled to it either

⛩️▫️Ask someone at Scope to advise you and contact your doctor who can refer you to a specialist who can deal with your needs

    Hello DollyDolly29
And they said I was lying !! I’m not lying at all :( I do have anexity and depression and mental health.
The vast majority of time the reason why a person has been refused or got zero points is because they have not understood the PIP activities and what they include and they have not understood the descriptors and what they mean. Also if you do not fill in your PIP2 Questionnaire form with detailed accurate written personal verbal evidence then the assessors and descision maker cannot gain an accurate picture of your problems you have completing the 12 PIP activities that are applicable to you and give you the according points.
So if you did not fill in the PIP2 form with detailed accurate written personal verbal evidence on why you cannot complete the PIP activities Reliably and that is safely, repeatedly, in a timely manor and to an acceptable standard. All of the four criterias of "Reliably" need to be met to score zero points for that activity. So if you can prepare herself a meal in a reasonable time, repeatedly and to an acceptable standard but it is not safe for you to do because there is a risk of her cutting yourself then you cannot do that activity relaibly and you would score points according to the applicable descriptor. See the following links about Reliably https://www.mypipassessment.co.uk/updates/what-are-the-reliability-criteria-that-are-used-during-the-pip-consultation/ and https://pipinfo.net/issues/reliably
You need now to write a detailed Mandatory Reconsideration letter (do not telephone to start your MR) including what I have mentioned above. I wrote a lengthy reply on another forum post that you might find usefull for your MR letter also and it can be found here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/680205/#Comment_680205
There is a possability that you will be turned down again at MR but if you do a detailed and accurate MR Letter and include a supporting letter from friends and family explaining your problems and if they care for you ask them to detail in the letter what they do for you and why they have to and what would happen if you did not get that help. This detailed MR Letter will help the Tribunal because it will act as supporting evidence. Also if there is enough accurate annacdotal verbal evidence included in your MR Letter then there is a slim chance that the DWP will contact you with an "offer" so you do not have to go to tribunal. I would like to stress that that there is only a slim chance of this happening and there has to be good detailed written personal verbal evidence for this to happen.
You have 1 month from recieving the descision letter to send your Mandatory Reconsideration letter but you have upto 13 months to send a later letter if you show good reason for sending it late (you could use your mental health as a good reason).
    Hope that helps

keep a diary daily of how my conditions effected me and what I can and can’t do and to make sure I was honest and give the run down on worst days which I started to do

If it see that advice on here i will usually quote it to correct it. PIP is about how you're affected on the majority of the days and you shouldn't concentrate on your worst days. If you did this and you had various times through out the 12 months when you're feeling a little better and you can manage some activities then there could be issues.

I also highlighted on my paper work so I could make further notes on the impact over time my mental health has suffered and got worse .

They will not take into consideration any worsening of condition. They are looking to see if the decision was correct at the time it was made.

Ok it was just advice that was given to me by a health professional but if I quoted wrong then sorry
There is no need to appologies because that advice is also given out by some Citizens Advice places. It is the worst advice that can be given for PIP and I will explain why.
1.) For a start you are committing Benefit Fraud because you are not giving an accurate picture on your limitations and reasons for not being able to complete the activities reliable for more than 50% of the time.
2.) If you had an assessment and you turned up for the assesment on a "good day" then you would not be giving a true depiction of your limitations to the assessor on the day and they will mark you with zero points for everything and see you as not having the problems or limitations you described on your PIP2 Questionnaire form.
So if your limitations doing the PIP activities reliably do vary then it is important that you make note of that on your PIP2 Questionnaire form or your Mandatory Reconsideration letter.
