Hello i received a copy of my PIP assessors report . It was very hard to understand .lots of abbreviations , also i think there may be some pages missing . The report only shows the points awarded /selected for the first two descriptors, Does this seem right .

The report should be a complete report, from memory mine was 11 pages, it should have all the 'descriptors' covered. Pages should be numbered in sequence. Call them, request a another copy. The report needs several reads, just to get your 'head around'. Not user friendly.2

It should also say on the first page what abbreviations have been used, they print double-sided too.1

Thankyou for your replies . i have read the report several times . but it still does not offer much information to me as i need to see all the descriptors chosen and why .. Also nothing to help with all the abbreviations .
Will phone and ask for another copy .0 -
How many pages are in the report? In the reports i have here there's no page for any abbreviations. I'm not sure they do that because sometimes members ask what an abbreviation means.

Printed on both sides, so 22 pages.1 -
9 pages on my report . only printed on one side . first 3 pages numbered 1-3 Then its the blank spaces for the physical examination notes , ( blank due to it being a telephone assessment ). ) Then 2 pages for the 2 descriptors mentioned .

I see from a previous thread that your PIP stopped after a refusal with the review decision. Have you requested the MR yet? You don't need the assessment report to request this. You should request it in writing.

Thankyou ,Yes have requested the MR in writing , have sent the reasons why i disagree with the decision , and i do have some up to date medical evidence which i will forward onto them as soon as i can get copies made My review form was returned to them in January 2022 .
I sent for the assessors report to get a better understanding of how the decision was made and to hopefully help with Tribunal if and when it comes to that .0 -
If it gets to Tribunal you will receive the report in with the bundle. However, concentrating on the report will not get you a PIP award.1

Thankyou for your comments . i was just curious to see what was in the report . I migrated from DLA to Pip in 2014 and have been in receipt of high care low mobility since this date . I will do my best to get my award reinstated ,but have low confidence in the system . Thankyou for your help .0

Thankyou for all your help and advicePIP is not awarded based on diagnosis or medical conditions. It is awarded based on the limitations and your inability to complete the 12 PIP activities Reliably (safely, repeatedly, in a timely manor and to an acceptable standard.) and the help you need according to the applicable descriptors for that activity.Nasturtium1

Thankyou Yes i realise this but , . but in order to justify the descriptors chosen ,it helps to know all the conditions , and how they impact on daily tasks etc .
