Hi Hannah _scope, just by asking Google questions really, but glad I did very informative and welcoming. My friend received two letters today, one from DWP pip stating they have all information to make a decision and another from pip assessment- adding up the points from the assessment it’s 10 points for DL and 18 points for M. Does the DM normally make their decision on this ? Or do they go against? It’s made her mental state go into distress as she doesn’t know what to expect xx

Correction received assessment letter yesterday, DWP letter today derrrr to me sorry about that xx

Mostly they go with it but not always.

The report is a recommendation only. Before making a decision they are supposed to look at everything you sent as well as the assessment report. They can simply disagree with the recommendations. Though as i advised, mostly they go with it.
