If you could go to a fancy afternoon tea, we're talking little sandwiches, cream cakes, a pot of tea or maybe champagne- and take absolutely anyone with you, who would you pick?

It could be a celebrity, or someone you've always wanted to chat with from history, or maybe just someone you really haven't seen in a while!

For me, I would take Judy Murray, to get all the tennis gossip ready for Wimbledon next week :D

Is he the one that Shakespeare made a play about? I should know, can't remember.

Yes @66Mustang legend has it that he had the princes killed in the Tower because they were in line to the throne, n he put himself on it. The other  conspiracy is Henry 7th mom killed them to secure the Tudor dynasty.  Sorry if I'm being geeky. It's a mystery we will never know.  Henry tudor defeated him at the battle and became king. Richards remains were found under a car park in Leicester about 500 years later or there of.

@Sandy_123 that's really cool thanks for the lesson! I think I remember his remains being found being on the news a few years ago.

Yes it was amazing to discover they found a Kings remains. They did DNA and everything on him. There's lots about it on line, very interesting  they knew colour of his eyes, hair and also that he was a product of an affair. I mean fascinating stuff. They now have a richard 3rd visiting center, near the carpark. ( trys not to sound like a history buff) I'm presuming the car park was originally part of the church buried grounds originally.

I'd take Sandi Toksvig.  Really enjoy watching her 'Extraordinary Escape's' lately.  Lovely bit of escapism.  :)

I don't know if he is still active but Will Self I always thought was an interesting man.

Very very intelligent, extremely sharp, witty and fast, but also pretty dry and sarcastic. Almost like a sarcastic and hyper-dry Stephen Fry/Sandi Toksvig.
