Hey people, thank you in advance for your time. Since i have such a hard time with calls, i was wondering if its possible to request the assessors report through mail? I understand it isn't always recommended asking for the report due to causing more stress but in my opinion it'll cause the same stress but getting it earlier will just mean you would have more preparation for MR & tribunal or let you know if you can take it easy.
If i can't request it by post, time to spend days building up the courage to call again..

Yes, you can but include a couple of proofs of identity, make sure you get Proof of Postage. Also, bare in mind you might get a call from DWP, just to confirm you made the request.0

Mail takes so long to get to and from the correct area within the DWP that I can't see it being worth it for this purpose. You'll probably receive the backpay before the report arrives in the mail.
I can't use phones either, so I appreciate the difficulty there. Probably best just to wait for the decision.0 -
They don’t always respond to anything sent by post either, especially this sort of thing.0
