I have been on the ESA support group since 2006 ,my daughter has moved to Australia and asked me to keep £16000 for her till she gets her own bank account in Australia. My ESA payments stopped in September 2022 can you advise what I should do?

If your ESA was all income Related then yes it’s correct that it stopped if you had more than £16,000. The fact it’s your daughter’s money will make no difference, she gave it to you.
Is there any reason why you’ve waited 10 months to get advice on this?0 -
Hello @jross20. Did you and your daughter have a formal agreement regarding the money? Was it back in September that your daughter moved and are you still holding the money for her?0
