Hello people, i have questions

Hello people, thank you for taking the time to read my post.
I was informed a few days ago that i was accepted for PIP and recently i have been given my backpay. I have not recieved my acceptance letter yet so i have only been able to speculate what they have given me. Recieving the money had me shook because i have been paralysed with anxiety for the past few days especially, but i am also shook and a little in suspense because i still don't really know.. things.
I scored myself and gave what i believed i should get based on the PIP stuff and surprisingly it looks like if the backdate date is correct, they have put me higher on one catagory than i'd put myself in but lower (not even in a category) on the other.
I would like some help getting things straight in my brain to hopefully lessen my anxiety about this and hear from some knowledgeable people whilst i wait for more clarification in the form of the acceptance letter. The problem i have now is that i don't know whether or not to disarm or if i have to continue trodding on with fighting this with my head barely above the water. I can't tell if perhaps i am on the rate i am happy with and believe i should be on but i was mistaken with how far the backpay goes, or if maybe they made a mistake? Or if i have to start writing a MR and working up the courage to call for the HAs report
I applied for PIP through the post, how does backpayment work in this case? Does it start when they send out the PIP1 form? Or is it once the PIP2 form is back? etc.
How risky is it to request an MR in terms of what you already have?
I'm sorry if i am asking for help but am not being very helpful myself. I am just very stressed, in fear and depressed all at the same time.

Usually when ringing to start a claim it's paid from that date. Not 100% certain when applying through the post when it's paid from, potentially when they receive the request to start a claim.Once you know what the award is for certain, if you're not happy then you can request the MR. Before doing this you should make sure that you fully understand the PIP descriptors and what they mean to make sure it's definitely possible to score more points for a higher award. Start here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteriaMost MR decisions remain the same. Only about 23% of them change in the claimants favour. It's rare to lose points at this stage but it is possible. Your exisiting award will continue in the meantime.
