If you were found to have Limited Capability for Work Related Activity (LCWRA) then your first payment will be either June or July. When it's paid from exactly will depend on what date you usually receive your money each month. If you were found to have just Limited Capability for Work. (LCW) Then you won't be entitled to any extra money each month.0

Hi poppy thank you for taking the time to answer my question. The file that I got was for lcwra. My usual universe credit goes in the 18th of each month I ever got any extra money last month so I was thinking maybe I wasn't entitled to anything?. Because I've calculated it from the 20th February so 3 months from February should of been may /June? Maybe I'm getting it wrong

The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods. It's then paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. As UC is paid 1 month in arrears then payment will be received at the end of that 4th month. For you, your waiting period will be March to June.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 12th June to 11th July and first payment will be 18th July. You're not owed any LCWRA element. You will need to check this months statement to make sure it's included. The above advice is assuming you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.0
