Dubbed by the BBC as the "much needed Twitter competitor", Meta's newly launched Thread App has had millions sign up in the last day.
With so many social media apps out there, it has created many questions.

- Are there too many Social Media websites / apps?
- Are people signing up so they don't miss out?
- Is Threads better than Twitter?
- Will Threads be the end of Twitter?

I've heard Twitter is threatening legal action, so it will be interesting to see how things pan out, for sure
I do feel like there are too many apps these days, but perhaps I'm getting old!1 -
@Alex_Scope no I fully agree there are to many apps like these and I've also heard about Twitter's legal action so yep it will be interesting to see how things go.

I prefer Instagram. Pretty pictures without all the drama of text!

My friend runs her own business and said another app would mean more visibility but it also takes up more time. I do wonder if it will last just as long as Twitter has.0 -
