Hi there, would it please possible if someone could explain to me why people on lcwra and enhanced pip are not eligible to any of the disability premiums , compared to those on the old style ESA who are entitled to it? Any insights would be grateful

LCWRA is part of UC and the disability premiums are not part of the UC regulations. The old legacy benefits such as Income Related ESA/JSA and Income Support are all completely different benefits.

UC is a different benefit and is structured differently. Many claimants get more money under UC, some get less. An ESA Support Group claimant gets more under UC with LCWRA unless they also get a Severe Disability Premium on ESA in which case they get less under UC.0
