This is not a change of circumstances that needs reporting. If you report changes you will be sent more forms to fill in and return and you’ll likely have another assessment.

@apples I wouldn't report. If for example, you were given one medication and it didn't work, you may need to trial a whole number of them to find the right one. But it doesn't always mean you know for definite that your condition is getting better or worse.

I wouldn’t bother reporting tbh as if it may mean form filling and assessment

I may not get meds I got a missed call on Friday (then an email) offering me and appt tomorrow with psychiatrist but I never returned the call as I’m not going there they can send meds to my local chemist otherwise that’s it, the psychologist at the same place the psychiatrist is didn’t help so I’m not going to bother

@apples Psychology and Psychiatry although similar have different methods and practices. I would say it would be worth having the one appointment, to run through what you've tried so if there is anything they could offer you could try that now or take the idea away with you as you may feel it could work at a later date :)

    Hi @Hannah_Scope

i haven’t tried any meds, the psychologist was useless just getting me to practice distraction techniques even though I told them I won’t be able to due to lack of concentration

the psychiatrist never contacted me again anyway which is probably a good thing as I’d probably save the meds up and take all at once

That sounds really frustrating for you @apples. As you say, different things work best for different people and you deserve to feel heard and have your needs met.

Can we ask if you are currently feeling safe or if you are still feeling like you would save the meds up and take them all at once?

Your health and safety matter to us and so do you. We have a duty to safeguard you and we care about you.

What would support, in an ideal world, look like for you at the moment? Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to help  :)
