PIP No award text but letter on way

Hello
Its been 5-6 weeks after my assesment and around 13-14 wweeks since claim started. I've had the 'we've not made a decision yet' text a couple weeks ago now but no text since.
I rang today because my anxiety is tormenting me and I'm starting to obsess and get stressed and the lady said they've sent a letter and to wait. Now I'm convinced they've rejected my claim as everyone else seems to get a text. I'm so stressed.
I also tried phoning the 'automated payment line' but can't find any option to check payments only to speak to someone.
I'm really upset if I've been rejected because the assessor was lovely, and said I should be proud of myself because I found it so emotional.
Uhh!

If the decision has only recently been made it takes up to 24 hours for them to be able to see it on the system.
The automated payment line is option 6 for the PiP helpline. However, it has been known to give incorrect information so you shouldn’t rely on this.0 -

I've tried to ring the line, but option 6 just puts me through to a human0 -
Decision letters are always sent, regardless of what the decision is. If there's an award they sometimes send a text but not always. The decision may not have been made yet.

I have rang and they have said its not been awarded. The case manager awarded 3 points DL when I was expecting 17 after reading it up
I'm gutted and so so stressed. What is next please?0 -
It does help to have some understanding of the PIP descriptors and why they mean. If you don't it's very easy to overscore and even under score yourself. Start here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteriaFor your next step you will need to request the Mandatory Reconsideration. (MR) You should put this in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points. You have 1 month from the date of the decision to request this. With good reason you actually have 13 months. When filling out the forms if you didn't give a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you then you should do that for the MR. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. There's some information here, including a link to download and print off a form. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/appeals/mandatory-reconsideration-pip/Most MR decisions remain the same so if this happens you can proceed to Tribunal.

@queenmiffy I know it's hard but try not to be stressed. It's very bad for you, mentally and physically. And, more importantly, it won't change anything. The only reason to be stressed is if a sabre toothed tiger is chasing you or you are chasing it.
You've got this far. It's just the first step in the process. I got 4 points mobility in the same step and then went on to the MR. It was successful. All I did was write a very long, rambling letter (not saying I recommend long and rambling but it was the best I could do at the time). It had a lot more detail than my initial form. I got awarded daily living standard and I'm appealing the mobility part by going to tribunal.
I admit I was stressed and deeply upset when I only got 4 points. But, I slept on it for a while. Walked around it a bit. Then I can say, I didn't get PIP. And then say to myself, well "so what". "What are you going to do about it" (me). Move along to the next thing - the MR in this case. You can do it too. What's already happened is already in the past. Move forward. (I'm sorry if I sound flippant, I'm really not, but genuinely care and I know you can go take it to them!)
