Hi,
I’m confused to if I’m getting the correct universal credit as me and my partner have entered all our details correctly but i am shocked to the amount they said that we are receiving?
We get our housing rent all paid for
Payment for 2 children
Standard allowance for couple
I work part time and my partner is self employed

How comes we are entitled to so much?
Can anyone help please or give information on what the eligibility is?

It will be helpful for you to do a calculation: https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator/Intro/Home?cid=4f1d1441-03af-4d8c-bf36-64f786d24536
If it all matches up (near enough) then you're all good.0 -
Entitlement will depend on your joint circumstances. As you have children on your claim you'll be entitled to the work allowance. This means a certain amount of earnings received each month will be ignored before any deductions apply. If you claim for help with the rent your work allowance will be £379/month. If you don't then it will be £631/month. Earnings over this amount will reduce your UC by 55%.
