Hi All, had my pip assessment 3 weeks ago, no text from dwp, so i rang pip to be told my report was in its last stages of audit. As anyone any idea how long it may take now please, till the dwp receives my report or that i get a decision. My anxiety at the moment is through the roof. Thanknyou

There's no timescales how long a report can remain in audit. I've had a report remain in audit for 6 weeks, Once it's returned a decision can take anything up to about 12 weeks.

@jan6122 It really doesn't. I see so many members so anxious over the wait. I hope it isn't too long for you now. Have you thought about joining us in the Coffee Lounge? It's where we play games, share interests and get to know each other. May help keep your mind off it all0

Hi L Volunteer, Thank you for asking, im still very anxious. I had a text at 8.09am this morning from dwp saying they had not yet made a decision. Watching the England game helped me take my mind off it a little, but got anxious over that game lol0

It seems like your report was sent to Audit because it took almost 4 weeks for the report to be returned. That will of course delay the decision process. Timescales are up to 12 weeks after the report is return. Many members are awarded whether they have a decision in 2 weeks or 12 weeks.0
