Hello everyone. Does anyone else keep getting text messages with a time and date for a phone call but the phone calls never happen?

Is there no messages on your journal explaining why they’ve changed the appointment?0
-
The journal records either I've attended or not attended the appointment. Then the next one is booked.0

Does anyone else get these texts and journal messages about phone appointments which never materialise?0 -
That sounds very frustrating @Whatnot4657 I would suggest putting this as a message on your journal to ask for clarification0
-
Well, of course I have done so many times! My enquiries are ignored.0
-
Does anyone have any insight into these non-existent phone appointments being booked? Thank you0
-
Having advised thousands of people here, I can’t say I remember anyone mentioning random appointments like this.Does your UC include the LCWRA element for yourself? If so then you don’t need to attend appointments anyway.0

hi i had that a lot the agents knew i was partially sighted and mobility problems due to strokes 5 mins after the tel appointments were due they marked it as attended on the journal0
-
No, only the standard allowance despite previous LCW determination and no change of circumstances.
Does anyone know why DWP books phone appointments then records non-attendance when they have claimant contact details?

Michael thank you. Are they still doing this to you now and how long did it go on for?
In my case, they paused and started up again.0 -
Michael, I'm not suggesting they will start on you again!! Just trying to find out why they keep doing this to me.0

Unfortunately I have seen this happen before and even people be referred for sanction for 'non-attendance' when the didn't receive a phonecall. I'm not saying that this will happen to you, but it would be worth you adding a note to journal any time they don't call you as arranged, especially if they are marking you as non-attendance.
This is probably a silly question but have you double checked the phone contact details UC hold for you?0 -
LCW was determined following IB reassessment but as explained elsewhere, became a claim for JSA without my knowing (I will respond to your other post).
Yes, the texts are received and I have a second number which is also not rung for these 'appointments'.
These renewed texts and journal messages were triggered by a UC review following a two-year campaign of harassment with these appointments - variously recorded as attended or not attended.
Where did you hear or read about similar cases? Thank you0 -
Hello @Whatnot4657. What makes you think it has become a JSA claim? If you were in the LCW group, when you transferred to UC you should still be classed as having LCW so long as there were no gaps between your claim for IB ending and your claim for UC starting.
What was the outcome of your recent UC review?0 -
IBR to ESA award (Employment AND Support Allowance) as I've never claimed or been eligible for JSA. I should have passed the ESA gateway health test without assessment and been awarded LCWRA. However, my claim had been ended by DWP and a reduced Transitional Addition was applied before conversion to ESA meaning only LCW was awarded.
Employment Support Allowance is uploaded as a decision for JSA and is just that - no component included. See WCA outcomes on JSAPS and MSRS.
It was a Claimant Commitment review at JCP.
There was no introduction, no ID check and a guy I'd never met before yelled at me to accept the new commitment or else.. So I did and the fake phone appointments were booked again and a long list of 'to-do's' appeared in the journal.
