Hi my 14yr old daughter gets DLA for her autism and anxiety, she has been on middle care and low mobility since she has had it,(3yrs) she had a performance review end of march and was changed to high care but kept low mobility, i did tell them at the time because of her weight which she gained very fast and we was not sure why that she struggles walking far and gets out of breath easy, she has just been diagnosed with Lipoedema (last wk)so i have asked for a change of circumstances, do you think this will change her award? Sorry about long post…

Hello @Bella03, unfortunately it's important to note that a new diagnosis doesn't always mean a change in circumstances or guarantee a higher award. If your daughter had all the symptoms of lipoedema during the review in March, simply giving these symptoms a name may not necessarily impact the award decision.
Has her mobility deteriorated since March or do you feel the award decision in March was incorrect?0
