Wordle 3, Cardle 0, failed!

To be fair, with that type of car, there are so many of the sodding things it's hard to distinguish one from another.
Then again someone who likes that sort of car probably says the same thing about sports cars.

They rarely have 'common' cars on there, when they do, it's the one's from years ago & we get them.

Got the Wordle in 4, Cardle same as that, 0,I think the reason we get the older ones is because every car is a different shape and style, whereas today's cars all look the same and are bland and boring to me.2
-
I do think a lot of SUVs look the same, but that's perhaps because they don't interest me very much.
What I was getting as is do you think someone who loves SUVs but doesn't see the point in sports cars thinks sports cars all look the same?
As an aside...I find at night I can often identify a modern car by its headlights. Couldn't do that in the old days as the lights were all much of a much.0 -
I quite agree about SUVs they do look the same now, i had a Jeep Cherokee MK1 which was quite distinctive when it came out, that's it in my profile picture, most sports cars are different, i was referring more to the mass produced motors of today.0
-
I don't think modern cars all look the same. I think we just notice more differences in things we're familiar with. There are still distinguishing features of modern brands once you realise what they are.
I don't particularly like SUVs but did get it in one today...purely by fluke though. I knew the Make & model type, but just guessed the number.0 -
I've always had an interest in cars, of all types. I've always liked different though or those that stand out, not all by any means. I think a lot of car makes look the same or similar nowadays, even Volvos & I have always liked them because they were different & were a nice drive, until the 90s, then they moved away & went curvy & bland.

Does anyone also play the Connections game in the New York Times games?
Reminds me of Only Connect which I love0 -
@Ada It's a popular online game, it went viral and was eventually bought by the New York Times.
Everyday there is a random 5 letter word and you get 6 chances to guess it. Everytime you guess the game will tell you if you have a correct letter in the correct place (it will colour it green) or a correct letter but in the wrong place (it will colour it amber). This helps you narrow down what the word might be.1 -
Morning, got them both in 4 today,. we have had the car before, otherwise i wouldn't have got it0

I haven't seen, I did play one other game and half way through it stopped me and asked me to pay to carry on.Jimm_Scope said:Does anyone also play the Connections game in the New York Times games?

Wordle 5, Cardle 0 again, got the make, obviously, didn't have a scooby on the model or the brainpower to remember it.

The Connections one is free, one board a day. There are 16 things and you have to figure out the connections that put them into 4 groups of 4. Reminds me of Only Connect, a quiz show I love. The biggest issue is that it can have groups that are very American-centric and I have no idea about them.66Mustang said:

About the one that needs paying I think it's the Spelling Bee one? I tried that but it stopped me after like 5 words and asked me to pay, so I stopped playing it too.0 -

I am going to try the one you suggest right now

I completed Connections, I made one mistake out of the four allowed!
That said, I completed three, then the final four words I was left with I would have had no idea they were linked if not for the fact they were the only words left.

In Only Connect you have to also guess the connection correctly too, but with this they just tell you :P1 -
