Hi everyone
please can someone help me with a few questions Thankyou
i have just been awarded LCWRA
now I previously had LCW and I was working part time, I then went on the sick due to more health complications in January- I provided sick notes from 3rd February 23
I had a WC assessment on June 16 th and was awarded LCWRA on 22nd July
I have also been awarded PIP standard allowance for both daily and mobility
on my UC claim I have carers element for my husband looking after me and he also gets carers allowance
my UC assessment period is 6-7th with payment 13th
my question is when will I see the LCWRA element included?
will I get any back pay? If so is it from the day of my sick note or from my original assessment which I got LCW?
please can someone help me with a few questions Thankyou

I’m in the final month of SSP also and I won’t be going back to work

If you reported the changes you will be paid the LCWRA element from the assessment period in which you reported the changes. If that was when you reported your fit note on 3rd Feb then the extra money will be from AP 7th Jan to 6th Feb, which first payment being 13th Feb.Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay what is owed. Once your statements have been recalculated you will receive a letter on your journal telling you how much is owed. The carers element will continue as normal because that's paid for your husband. As you will have already had the work allowance you won't be owed any extra money for this.0

Thankyou very much for your answer! Does the assessment period not apply to me with already having LCW0

I don't know what you mean by that. The waiting period doesn't apply because you were already found to have LCW. This is why i advised it will be paid from the assessment period in which you reported the changes Jan/Feb.
