Disabled facilities grant - wet room needs repairs

Hi everyone 😊
Just a question if I may, regarding the above for those who may have been in a similar situation or have knowledge of what to do -
We had a wet room installed in 2013 for my daughter with a DFG, she was 14 at the time, so did not contribute towards the cost.
All was approved by the Council and our Housing Association and all was great..
Fast forward and the room is very tired, the handles on the shower doors are broken and they don't sit against the floor properly (so leak) the water trap is broken, the silicone needs replacing, and mould can be a problem with the amount of condensation build up etc, etc..
Whilst the Housing Association maintenance manager has had a look, he seemed reluctant to do much because of the initial DFG, so does this mean my daughter has to ask for another DFG to cover the maintenance?
The Housing Association agreed to the works initially and have replaced the shower several times but I'm stuck with this one!
Has anyone else had a similar experience and what was the outcome?
Thanks so much.. 👍
