Pip review , how long to wait for an assessment ?

Hi everyone , i have today called Dwp to be told I am in a queue for an assessment, does anyone have any experience of how long the wait is please ? I am in WALES not sure if that makes a difference . My award ended 02 June 2023 but i have been extended for 12 months .

    There's exceptionally long delays for the majority of people with reviews so you could be waiting as long as 1 year. Most are by telephone, some are face to face or video. If you prefer telephone and it's anything else then you can request a telephone appointment. Once a date becomes available you will be contacted.
