I have a ongoing claim with pip .
I have recently been diagnosed with a new more deliberating health condition.
I have phoned pip to make them aware and asked if I need to make a née claim .
I was told that I didn't need to and they would add the new health Condition to my notes.
Is this correct ?
Thank you

A new health condition or diagnosis is not a change of circumstances that needs to be reported. You only report changes if it’s possible to score more points for a higher award and neither of those will automatically score you more points.
You were very lucky that they didn’t send a new form out to you to fill in and return. This will have meant another assessment is most likely. Your existing award could have been at risk. Therefore in my opinion that was the correct thing they did, even if they rarely do that.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

One person on the phone says one and the next another 🙈 .. so just wanted some clarity really 😊 -
Conflicting information can be the worst @tmk11 - especially when you are trying to follow their advice and do all you are supposed to do!
