In terms of benefits, a benefit calculator will help:

It is difficult to advise when we have no information of what you are claiming, if you tell us we can help you further.0 -
Any other helpline I can use via chat or email to explain our circumstances in terms of deciding to get into paid work and receiving ESA and PIP. I understand Scope is inundated with calls and CAB cannot take income calls either.
Thank you0 -
It will depend on what benefits you're currently claiming, your circumstances and how much earnings you will be receiving. If your earnings will be more than the benefits you're claiming then it will be worth it.Whether benefits can or will continue if you're working will depend on which benefits you're claiming. Lots of people work while claiming benefits. You can use a benefits calculator https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator or speak to an advice agency near you for a full benefits check.

Hello there, any carer out there with an adult son or daughter living with Autism who managed to go into paid work and move on from PIP/ESA? I need real feedback of their experiences, either successful or not, as my daughter would like to start paid work, part time over the limit of hours, and we are unsure if we are doing the right thing. Any suggestions are welcomed.0

You can work and claim PIP because many people do. For ESA if it’s the main claimant that wants to work then they can do permitted work. You must make sure it’s less than 16 hours per week and earn no more than £167/week. Anymore than this and the ESA will stop. They must tell ESA that they are working and fill out a PW1 form. If the work they do contradicts the reasons why they are claiming ESA and PIP then it can go against them at their next review so do be aware of that too.0
