Hello,
My son has been awarded PIP we got the text yesterday. He is transferring over from DLA as is 16. We have been unable to get through to the DWP via phone however did get some information via an automated service to state he would be paid £567.00 on 29th September. I cannot work out the rate he has been given and he’s very persistent to know! He was last paid DLA on 25th July with HRC/LRM. Can anyone work out what rate he has been awarded? I am not sure how it is calculated and when one stops and the other starts!

The PIP automated line isn't 100% accurate and is well known to make errors. As your son is a DLA transferee, his payments will continue for 4 weeks after the PIP decision was made. Your best bet would to wait for a letter in the post to explain his new award and rates, as the £567 doesn't add up properly. You also have the option of phoning now, if you can't wait for this.0
