Hi everyone been a while just gave a little question to ask, I am currently on universal credit and pip also I was been placed in the lwc group,I was told about lwc element is this possible for me,also I'm with my partner who is a pensioner as we are of a mixed age group im not sure what benefits I'm entitled to if im on the right ones ect thanks

There's no extra money for those that are found to have LCW because the rules changed for new claims in April 2017. You'll only be entitled to extra money if found to have LCWRA.UC has replaced all the old means tested benefits. As you're a mixed aged couple then you're claiming the correct one. The rules for mixed aged couples for Pension Credit changed in May 2019. Your partners state pension will be deducted in full from your UC entitlement.Unless you've worked in the previous 2 tax years then there's no other benefits possible to claim.In a previous thread you said you were appealing the LCW decision, have you had your Tribunal hearing yet?0

Hi poppy thanks for your reply, OK I understand, yes I received lwc from the appeal not gappy with it but that's what they decided thanks again0
