Is it worth submitting recent documents for PIP Tribunal? will they help?

Now I have my Tribunal date for early next month, I’m just going over if there’s anything I want to send over that I haven’t yet.
one thing I’m not sure about is my most recent letter from my consultant, which arrived today. It confirmed I am to have another procedure, related to the illness in my claim, in October/ November depending on wait times.
My question is, as the Tribunal will focus generally on my illness and condition up to the original decision/MR, is it even worth sending? Will it have any relevance or help me particularly?
I’m inclined to send, show progression of condition (as original decision tried to downplay it a bit) but only if it will help.

Only relevant medical evidence which shows how your conditions affect your daily living and mobility should be sent. If you feel this letter from your consultant will be useful and of course relevant, there’s no harm in sending it now.1

Thanks for the reply @bg844 I think its relevant medically (in that I'm having a procedure to help with issues I am claiming for) but as its for a procedure now does it carry weight as it wasn't something a Decision Maker had access to way back when. Just not sure how much weight would be given to it0

Hi, yes send it then DWP will get a copy and - you never know - may reconsider their decision to avoid a hearing0 -
Playing devil's advocate, if this procedure (& I don't know what it is) may help you, which I hope it does, then is it relevant in relation to the PIP activities/descriptors as it 'might' be considered that following it, & depending on certain circumstances, you will then have less difficulty? As you say, with a Tribunal. they will be looking at the difficulties you faced at the time of your assessment. Unfortunately only you can decide if this letter is helpful.0
