Called for a second face to face assessment?

I had a face to face assessment on 30 July 23 and I got message to say I got pip I checked my bank and I got backdated money they put me on lower rate for the first part rang them and was told I got 8 points and 4 for motability. Today I got message and they called me for face to face assessment doesn’t make sense

Can you get a phone assessment and get awarded low rates and then they call you for a face to face assessment 4 weeks later. Very confusing they awarded me the lowest rate 8 points and 4 for motability part.
received no letter from them yet.
please if someone can reassure me that they been through the same process thank you.

That seems very odd. I would ring the number on the letter first and tell them that you've had an assessment and been awarded and ask what the assessment is for. If you get no joy from that then ring PIP.

Hi poppy just found out that was someone’s appointment actually my cousin he doesn’t have a phone as he got serious mental health problems
