Hi @EveD - & welcome to the community. I hope you enjoy joining in with any discussions of interest, & the 'Coffee lounge' is a good place to get to know other members: https://forum.scope.org.uk/categories/coffee-lounge How are you today?

Hi @EveD Welcome to our community. @chiarieds has already done a good job of showing a good place to get to know others here.
I totally get the lurking for a while before contributing, I tend to do that before I fully join a new community. I like to get a feel for it before I just dive in.
I hope you're doing well, any topics you're particularly interested in?1 -

Hi my name is Susanne, I live alone and although I have friends and they try, they don’t understand the difficulties I experience in a daily basis, I have wanted to join for a long time but today I’m taking the plunge and hoping to meet like minded people, have a lovely day x1

Hi all. I've not checked or too much on here yet but I'm going to pop in and out more. I'm the same as a few of you. I live alone. Is there anyone in here with fibro and osteoarthritis? Horrible combination! Am still waiting for final decision. Just hoping and crossing everything I can cross its the last hurdle... for more anyway.
Keeping crossed for everyone else and hoping for some positive news for you all. I 😊0 -
Hi EveD, yes I have Fibro and osteoarthritis. Just also been told I have Lupus and could have had for years 🙄. Getting the diagnoses took years for me. I pray you get your final answer soon 🙏 sending you a big hug x1

Anyone have epilepsy and gets crippling migraines and stiffness in the neck with muscle cramps . After a convulsion. ?

@Ianforde01 I don't have epilepsy, but wanted to say it would be best to give your GP or consultant a ring, just so they know and see if they can help1
-
@Hanna_scope . Thanks I have done I'm on anticonvulsants but still get fits . Have seen the neurologist. It's just a query to see if there are others who get intense migraines and stiffness in the neck and leg muscles after a fit.1

Hopefully someone will be able to share their story. Glad to hear you have support!1
