We are researchers from the University of Southampton looking to make it possible to improve poo problems that can be linked with constipation in young children.

This study involves completing a survey online which should take no more than 30 minutes of your time.
We want to ask parents and carers about their thoughts on poo problems in children, like:

  • Hard small poo that looks like pellets
  • Pooing fewer than 3 times a week OR more than 3 times a day or soiling pants
  • Very large poos
  • Straining to poo, telling you that it hurts when they poo or bleeding
  • Swollen or painful tummy or loss of appetite
  • Refusing to poo, trying to hold back a poo, or only pooing in a nappy

Click on the link here to complete the survey: https://tinyurl.com/5n8medme
You do not have to complete the survey in one go. You can start the survey, and your answers will be saved so you can return to it later. Your name will not appear on the survey you fill in.

You can also enter a prize draw to win £50!

If you have any queries, please contact us on poostudy@soton.ac.uk.
