Work offer - back to work help
Hi I have been offered a small job and been awake all night wondering if I should take it. It will not affect ESA. I worry it would affect my MH as I have to stay up later one night to do it. Has anyone experience of the back to work grants?

Although you say it won't affect your ESA you still do need to fill this form out and post it off to address on your most recent letter:

You must not work over 16 hours a week and earn less than £167 a week.
For Access to Work, see here:
https://www.gov.uk/access-to-work
You can also get help from these even if you receive ESA.1 -

For permitted work it's less than 16 hours/week, rather than not over 16 hours. If someone works 16 hours then entitlement to ESA will end.

Hi @niza, I can understand the prospect of returning to work and how it might affect you is stressful. How much later would you be staying up compared to your usual routine?
Scope does have some advice pages on Access to Work Grants. I hope these help answer your questions Access to Work grant scheme | Disability charity Scope UK0
