My scooter has just died of old age and have been researching new ones. I was told the Veleco FASTER is made by Green Power is this true?

Hi @rockyrowell - & welcome to the community. I've just had a look, & there are some Veleco models that say Green Power (but not the Veleco Faster) if you scroll down here: https://www.thebikemarket.co.uk/top-ten/mobility-scooters Other than that I can only suggest you contact a seller/manufacturer.

Hello @rockyrowell
Welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear about your old scooter. I see Chiarieds has shared a top ten scooters list. Please keep us updated!0 -
My local mobility shop told me that Veleco is Green Power and warned me that after sales service is not good. Buying online from manufacturers you never know what help you will get if things go wrong. I've scoured websites trying to find out about reliability but they all just sing praises of the very makes I have been warned about. Sigh....0

Hi @rockyrowell Which? actually has an article on mobility scooters if that helps. Find it here Best Mobility Scooters 2023: Collapsible & Folding Mobility Scooter Reviews - Which?
I've found that they are quite independent and neutral on their testing, so I hope this helps you find a solution.0 -
We have just bought an Alumina Pro for my husband - his first scooter. It seems very good so far - safe and easy to drive. It's the type that breaks down so it fits in the car boot and is easy for me to "man" handle as needed.0
