Hi @teresa87, I know a change can be quite anxiety-inducing when you're used to something else. I'm afraid I have no personal experience with ESA telephone interviews. What I can do is pop this discussion into the ESA category of our community where people with the experience will be more likely to find it!

Citizen's Advice and Scope both have advice pages on ESA. Is this just a review since you mention you've had assessments/reviews before?

If you prefer face to face then you can contact the Health assessment Advisory Service to change it.

Telephone assessments have been in place since the pandemic and I believe they are remaining in place. Some are also video or face to face.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
