Hi @shannon19976 - & welcome to the community. Good to read you've been awarded the LCWRA element. Please would you say:- what date was your first fit note from after declaring your health condition?- have you supplied continuous fit notes, with no gaps?- do you know the dates of your assessment period?- what date do you normally receive your payment?

Thank you for your reply. As there are 3 full assessment periods (the waiting time), with payment being put into place for this extra element in the 4th month, then, based on what you say, the LCWRA element should be payable from 15 Oct 2023.

Do you mean 2023
-
I do indeed! I'll edit my comment now (forgot what year we're in)
-
Ok thank you that’s next month isn’t it and will I get back pay
-
Sorry, no backpay, just the LCWRA element will be added in Oct 2023 starting 15 Oct. this presumes your first fit note was 9 July this year, & that you're not living with a partner that already claims LCWRA (as there can only be one LCWRA element in a joint claim).
