Its a bit weird so please bear with me…
I love Halloween. Its always been my favourite time of year and I love a good scare. I’ve been looking for somewhere to go that’s ok for people with mobility issues. I’m on crutches and I can get most places but I’m slow. Does anyone know of any places that I can go? Most places say nobody with mobility issues or I can sit in the courtyard and wait for my friends 😡 thanks all 👍🏻

Hi @Zoggers welcome to the forum, any venue should not say no one with mobility issues unwelcome. That is discrimination. It is hard to point you somewhere without knowing where you are, but alot of pubs etc should be advertising halloween parties about now. I wouldn't mind going to one too. Most advertise on social media, if you use it. In your local area.
I do hope you find one, have you thought of hosting a party?0 -
Thank you @Sandy_123. I’m involved in a kids’ party every year. It’s great fun but I was looking for some kind of scare maze or something but nearly all of them say not suitable for people with limited mobility and some don’t say anything but won’t respond to messages. One even said I wouldn’t be able to do it but I could go and sit in the courtyard and wait for my friends 😭 I don’t want to spoil anyone’s fun, I just want to have some fun myself0

Ah the scary mazes, yes they don't have accesses for wheelchairs I just read on their sites. That's a shame. The only thing I'd say is if you all can find a venue that accommodate you all. Sitting in the courtyard is not much fun for you0

Hello @Zoggers
I love Halloween too! A lot of places will have activities on for Halloween. Like national heritage sites, zoo's, theme parks...etc that may be worth exploring.
You could also try AccessAble to see what is on closest to you1 -
@Hannah_Scope thank you. I did contact some of the theme parks but they said they weren’t sure how accessible things would be and I’d just have to keep an eye out. It’s just strange (and very sad) how little we can do. I don’t want to spoil anyone else’s fun but it would be nice if there was somewhere…0
