Hi I’ve just applied for new esa. I retired early on ill health age 62. I’m hoping for support group payment. Any one else get this. 🕊0

Hi @wol139 - the government have just published statistics on ESA & the outcome of Work Capability Assessments (WCAs), which states:''in the quarter to March 2023 the majority of DWP decisions for initial ESA WCAs resulted in a Support Group (SG) award (65%)'' Please see:This is very similar to the outcome of Universal Credit (UC), where, in the quarter ending Feb 2023, 64% were awarded LCWRA (which is the equivalent of ESA Support group); this UC percentage has remained stable, & was 65% the previous year.0
